Christmas Missions Offering!!

This year for our Christmas offering we did something a little different. We asked the K-5th graders to buy 3 different sizes of sports balls (for $1, $5, or $10) then we had them throw the balls down a slide that leads from our Grade School area to our Preschool area. After a few weeks of selling the balls and filling up the slide, the kids of Lake Pointe raised $2,236.85!!

All of the money raised will go to support a local community called Lake Rockwall Estates. The money will help them build a new outdoor basketball court/parking lot for their after school program!

Medical City Children's Hosptial

Over the past 2 weeks the 4th and 5th graders made 90 blankets and 88 activity bags packed FULL of goodies for the kids at Medical City Children's Hospital. Here are a few pictures of how it all came together and a few pictures of us passing them off!

Surge Party Night!

Last night our Surge kids got together and built not only gingerbread houses, but gingerbread CITIES! It was a blast! Here are a few pictures from last night.

Christmas in the Preteen Ministry!

This past weekend we had our 4th and 5th graders making blankets for 90 children at a Children's Hospital! Last weekend we finished 45 of the blankets so we are half way there! This coming weekend we will finish up the rest. Here are a few pictures.

Summer Activities!

Hello preteens!

I hope all of you got to come and have fun at VBS/ Beach Blast a few weeks ago. We raised over $14,000 to build wells over in Ghana! That is almost 5 wells. We have hundreds of 4th graders and over 400 different 5th graders come join us a Beach Blast!
